Thursday's Child

"Thursday's Child has far to go........."
Working on this piece for a storybook-themed submission. She's a little traveller and will be sitting on a steamer trunk dressed in travel clothes ca 1900. She might also have a few treasured possessions. A book. A doll.
Here she is so far:

Holy cow she's gorgeous, Susie. What is her hair made of?

Thanks guys! You rock. And positive reinforcement keeps me at the coal-face......... ;-)
Jan - her hair is mohair - I dyed it myself hand-knotted it, and stitched it onto a wig-cap made from cotton interlock. Technique PDF coming soon!

Susie... you are a master "storyteller" and your dolls tell all. Like a good read; so worth the wait, as you complete "Thursday's Child!" Daryle
